Screen Shot 2017-10-31 at 09.40.32This workshop is a quick introduction to “What you need to know about making videos” from the perspective of the Linnean Society’s Digital Content Producer, Ross Ziegelmeier.

This workshop is aimed at students, and is suitable for beginners and for those wanting to refresh their skills.

The Linnean Society’s videos aim to tell stories of the natural world either revolving around an object or person from the history of the field.

This workshop will be lead by the Society’s Digital Content Producer, Ross Ziegelmeier, who will explain his workflow and give his top tips on producing video content.

This workshop will not involve using video equipment but rather focus on soft-skills like story identification, story-boarding and script-writing.

We are also offering a 30 minute tour of the Linnean Society’s special collections at 12pm. The tour costs £5 and places are limited – please email learning@linnean.org to reserve a place.
